Meet Travis Tritt’s musical family

Travis Tritt’s son, Tristan, is following in his musical footsteps.

In addition to his success as a singer and songwriter, Travis Tritt has built a beautiful family with his wife, Theresa. The pair have been married since 1997 and share three children.

Travis Tritt’s only daughter, Tyler Reese, released her debut single “Perfect” with Post Oak Recordings in 2017. She credits her “family for being extremely supportive. With her mom as her biggest fan, her dad as her teacher, and her brothers by her side.”

Tristan James, the eldest of the Tritt sons, began pursuing a career in music after graduating high school. According to his website, Tristan believes in being “genuine and authentic” in life and making music a top priority.

About “Seven Spanish Angels”

“Seven Spanish Angels” was written by Troy Seals and Eddie Setser and recorded as a duet between iconic musicians Ray Charles and Willie Nelson. It was released in November 1984 on Charles’ album Friendship and later included on Nelson’s 1985 compilation album Half Nelson.

The song was ultimately a crossover success. It spent a total of twelve weeks on the US Hot Country Songs chart and took residence in the top spot for one of those weeks.

Tristan Tritt covers “Seven Spanish Angels”

Tristan Tritt, who refers to himself as a “y’allternative artist,” recently shared a cover video of the famous duet by Ray Charles and Willie Nelson. Even though the song was released before he was born, it’s clear that Tristan has learned an appreciation for the classics from his father.

The 25-year-old sports a Florida Gators jersey. He playfully remarks that the choice of attire for the video was inspired by the team needing “divine intervention.”
